The article deals with a volume (Donati 1994) on the excavation of an Etruscan house carried aut on the north slope of Roselle during the 1980s. The field work had recovered a continuous development of domestic architecture on the site duning from the Orientalising period to the early decades of the 5'h century B.C., the last being the construction of the Casa dell'Impluvium in the mid-6'h century B.C.
